Compliance and Regulatory

The U.S. Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) mandates that drug distributors have an interoperable system to identify and trace prescription drugs. All NDS systems have been modernized and optimized for this purpose, facilitating 2-way communication with our comprehensive track-and-trace portal, and positioning us to stay in full compliance with present and future regulatory requirements.

The portal, integrated database, and workflow processes implemented by NDS all work in tandem to provide transparency of medicinal products. These tools and processes allow us to monitor the movement of products throughout the supply chain, as well as notification of drug recalls, on an ongoing basis through electronic collaboration with our supply chain partners. This information ensures products are sourced from legitimate and vetted suppliers, providing rapid and accurate notification to help protect patients.

NDS partners with rfxcel℠, who provide a full stack of track-and-trace software. Rfxcel Compliance Management supports regulations as required by:
